I love that Korean horror keeps experimenting with different genres! Mixing sci-fi, horror, and thriller elements sounds ambitious. The fact that Mount Chiak is real adds a cool urban legend vibe. Korean films tend to be great at psychological horror, so I’m curious if this has that unsettling, slow-burn tension or if it’s more action-driven. Either way, I’ll watch anything Yun Kyun-Sang is in—dude’s a solid actor.

I get the premise, but the execution sounds a bit predictable. A group of people ignores a warning sign and gets hunted down—that’s been done so many times. The mystery element could be interesting, but if the film doesn’t commit to a clear explanation, it might feel frustrating rather than suspenseful. I might give it a shot if I’m in the mood for something casual, but I’m not expecting much based on those ratings.

They really saw a military warning sign and thought, “Nah, let’s keep going”? That alone makes me think they deserve whatever happens next. I don’t care if you’re an adrenaline junkie—when you see “Restricted Area” and “Department of Defense,” you turn around! I can already tell the characters will make dumb choices, which will probably frustrate me. But I might still watch it just to see how bad their decision-making gets.

I’m interested in the “is it aliens or is it something else?” angle. Movies that play with government cover-ups and extraterrestrial mysteries can be fun if they’re done well. But it has to commit to a solid ending—if it leaves things too open-ended, that can be a letdown. The government experimenting with alien tech or trying to suppress an encounter gone wrong? That’s classic sci-fi horror, and I hope they lean into it.

I like horror, but I don’t like it when things get too weird. If this is about aliens, that’s cool, but I hope it’s not one of those movies where nothing is explained at all. I just want to be entertained, not spend an hour reading fan theories after. But hey, if it’s on Tubi, that means I don’t have to pay extra for it. Might watch it on a lazy weekend.

I watched the trailer, and honestly, it looks a bit low-budget. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but sometimes these indie horror movies try too hard to be mysterious and just end up feeling messy. I like the idea of a real location being turned into a creepy setting, though. If the story is solid, I can forgive weaker effects or acting. But a 5.7 on IMDb? That’s usually not a good sign.

Mountain biking on an undesignated trail is already dangerous, even without creepy disappearances and alien conspiracies! That actually makes this movie more interesting to me. It’s not just another “lost in the woods” horror flick—there’s a real extreme sports element to it. I just hope they make the biking scenes look intense and not just use them as a weak excuse to get the characters into danger.

The idea of a real mountain with legends tied to it always makes horror movies feel more immersive. Even if the actual Mount Chiak doesn’t have a spooky reputation, movies like this sometimes create their own myths. I wouldn’t be surprised if this film sparks ghost stories or conspiracy theories about the area. The human mind loves to fill in the blanks when there’s a mystery!
