The rich world of Ghost Of Tsushima would make for an equally rich anime story, right? That’s what we’re hopefully getting thanks to the new deal between Sucker Punch, Sony and Aniplex….but there’s a weird twist to it. The announced series will be an adaption of Ghost Of Tsushima Legends, the co-op mode. Why the part with no story? Sony’s really stepping up their game with these adaptations. Between this anime, the upcoming movie, and other projects like The Last of Us series, they’re proving that video game stories can thrive across different mediums. The collaboration between Sony, Sucker Punch, and Aniplex is super exciting. These are all companies that know how to deliver quality in their respective fields. Aniplex has a great track record with anime adaptations, and with Sony Music handling the soundtrack, the series is bound to have incredible music. The original game’s score was breathtaking, so I’m hoping they incorporate some of those themes into the anime.

Crunchyroll exclusive? Makes sense. That platform already has a solid fanbase for anime like this
