It’ll still be a while before the next New York Game Awards (give us some time to recover from the non-NY-centralized Game Awards first)….but we already know who’ll be there. Not quite Harrison Ford, but perhaps more relevant. Mega Ran has officially been booked. For the unfamiliar, Mega Ran (real name: Raheem Jarbo) is a former middle school teacher who blends his love of hip-hop and gaming together to create rap albums about video games — and sometimes FOR them. He can be heard in the soundtracks of Mortal Kombat 1, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, River City Girls 2 and many others.
