Despite Demon Slayer still holding its own as one of the most popular contemporary anime shows, the remainder of it won’t exactly be a “show.” The plan is to tell the rest of the manga’s story in the form of three theatrical movies, the first of which was just announced for next year. The first movie in the trilogy will be titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. We first saw the Castle at the beginning of the Hashira Training Arc season. It’s what it says on the box: an endless, infinite structure from another dimension wherein all demons dwell. The image animation studio ufotable sent to promote the movie is a solitary crow flying through the infinite hallways of the castle. As for what happens within it….those who read the manga already know, but the studio is only hinting at an “impending all-out war between the Demon Slayer Corps and demonic leader Muzan Kibutsuji!” Remember that it’s part one of three, and not all may be wrapped up in a bow. Oh this is the part of the manga where they will face the one eyed demon who is more of a glass cannon because you can kill her with only one hit but its hard to get near her.

Huh, movies instead of a new season? Interesting choice. I guess it allows for a bigger budget and more animation freedom. Can't wait to see the Infinity Castle brought to life, especially with ufotable's animation quality.

Actually the 1st half of season 2 became a movie 1st before it got adapted into tv, So expect it to come to tv too but longer.

Infinity Castle as a trilogy? Feels like they're milking the popularity a bit. The arc itself is great, but stretching it out into three movies might feel repetitive. Still curious about ufotable's take on it though.

Don’t worry, guys! Remember how Mugen Train was both a movie and a TV series? It’s likely they’ll do the same with Infinity Castle. We might get a movie trilogy and a TV series adaptation later on. Just gotta be patient and trust the process
