Jurassic World Will Never Die

Whelp, Universal couldn’t leave it alone. In 2025, there will officially be more Jurassic World movies than there were Jurassic Park movies, as the studio introduces Jurassic World Rebirth, the fourth in the resurrected series. One might wonder at first how a fourth Jurassic World can be possible when the third movie already took everything to its final logical step — a literal Jurassic World where man and dinosaur coexist. Well, here’s how they’re writing themselves out of that one: most of the dinos died off between that movie and this one, as the ecosystem was just too different to […]

Didn't they just wrap things up with dinosaurs roaming free everywhere? Guess not. Sounds like they're hitting the reset button again, which...feels a little cheap. I mean, come on, how many times can these things escape and wreak havoc before it gets old? Plus, the whole "dino-DNA-for-a-miracle-cure" plot doesn't really hold water. Didn't these guys make the dinosaurs in the first place? Shouldn't they already have all the DNA they need? Maybe I'm just overthinking it. Look, if you love giant lizards and popcorn thrills, this is probably your movie. But for me, the first Jurassic Park was lightning in a bottle. Everything since then has felt like diminishing returns.

Scarlett Johansson AND dinosaurs? Sign me up ten times over! Who cares if the plot makes perfect sense? Giant prehistoric creatures on a secret island with a mysterious shipwreck? This is pure dino-adventure gold! And David Koepp, the original Jurassic Park writer, back on board? That's a nostalgia bomb waiting to explode! Sure, some folks might be tired of the franchise, but not me!

So, Jurassic World is back for round four, huh? Interesting. The whole "dinosaurs-don't-fit-in-modern-ecosystems" angle is a decent way to move the story forward. Makes sense, really. Extracting DNA for a new drug? That's a bit more questionable, but hey, it's a movie. Honestly, Scarlett Johansson is a big draw for me. She's a fantastic actress, and I'm curious to see her take on a dinosaur-filled adventure. Plus, having the original Jurassic Park writer involved is a nice touch. Maybe this one will recapture some of the magic of the first film. I wouldn't mind a good, suspenseful dino flick without all the over-the-top action of the recent sequels. We'll see. Jurassic World Rebirth could be a fun summer flick, or it could be another forgettable sequel. Guess I'll find out next July

I'm really hoping they've updated the dinosaur designs for this one. Feathers! Feathers, feathers, feathers! We know from the fossil record that many dinosaurs had feathers. It's time for movies to catch up. I mean, imagine a Velociraptor covered in fluffy feathers, hunting in a snowy forest. That would be so cool! And don't even get me started on the Therizinosaurs. Those guys were basically giant, feathered chickens. It's time for dinosaurs to get the feathered treatment they deserve

I'm not thrilled about the idea of bringing back extinct animals. Even if it's just for a movie, it raises ethical questions about the treatment of animals. Dinosaurs were intelligent creatures, and it's not right to exploit them for entertainment or profit. The idea of extracting their DNA for a drug is particularly disturbing. We should be focusing on protecting the animals that are still alive, not playing God and creating new ones. I hope this movie will raise awareness about the importance of conservation and animal welfare.
