Today’s the day. Moria, Free League’s long-awaited expansion for their official LOTR RPGs, is now available. The product was hyped through a successful crowdfunding campaign precisely one year ago, but as of now, you don’t need to have pledged to get a copy. Moria is a prequel to The One Ring, set in the years before Balin’s doomed expedition. Free League says it “contains a hoard of Patrons, Landmarks, foes, encounters and treasures that a Loremaster can use to construct their own adventures in Moria – from a single desperate journey in the dark to a grand campaign to retake Durin’s Halls.” There are two versions of Moria now available: one for The One Ring, which runs on Free League’s engine, and one for Lord Of The Rings Roleplaying, the One Ring variant which is 5E compatible.
