Ken and Roberta Williams rule. Just getting that out of the way. Why do they rule? Because they founded Sierra On-Line, a pioneering computer software company responsible for some of the most memorable PC games of the 1980s and 1990s. And Roberta made many of those games herself! There have been docs about the Williamses before, but production is now underway on the ultimate Sierra On-Line documentary, Legends of Adventure. It won’t just contain testimonials from Ken and Roberta, but dozens of other Sierra employees. All will be revealed about the development process behind King’s Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory, Leisure Suit Larry, Gabriel Knight, Police Quest, Phantasmagoria and many others. But only if you crowdfund it today! Well, Legends of Adventure shouldn’t have trouble finding adequate funding at this point, as the campaign on Backerkit reached its initial goal in under 24 hours. But your contributions can make the doc even better. The first stretch goal, allowing for more interviews, has already been hit — and they’re getting

Hold on, a Sierra documentary? I've heard whispers of these "legendary" games from older gamers, but never played them myself. This doc sounds like a great way to learn about the history and maybe even get hyped to try the originals. $49 seems fair,

A Sierra documentary? About time! I mean, I've been waiting for this since like, forever. King's Quest, Space Quest, and Quest for Glory were my childhood, but Gabriel Knight? That's a whole different level. I still remember the chills when I first played Sins of the Fathers. Can't wait to see how they tackle the voodoo stuff in the doc. I'm definitely in for the Blu-ray, maybe even the higher tier if it includes behind-the-scenes footage. Hoping they do the whole Gabriel Knight series justice!

Crowdfunding a documentary, huh? Interesting. Not usually my thing, but Sierra games were definitely unique. Maybe this doc will be a good blend of gaming history and filmmaking. Gotta check out the trailer and see what the vibe is before I consider backing it.

Oh, Sierra games! Brings back memories. Don't have a ton of free time these days, but a documentary about gaming history sounds interesting. Maybe I can catch it on streaming later if it does well. Good luck to the team though, hope they reach their goals!

They just surpassed their goal of $75000, they currently have $179,086 and reached the first stretch goal. They still have a lot of time to reach 2nd stretch goal
