A Rad Peek Behind The Scenes Of Stranger Things 5

According to the Duffer Brothers, creators of the Stranger Things universe(s), filming for Season 5 is going to take an entire YEAR. Combine that with a lengthy amount of post-production work and it means even though this delayed season is finally getting made, you won’t be seeing it for a while yet. To tide us all over, a special behind-the-scenes reel was shared by Netflix this morning. They were careful not to show anything that could potentially spoil future plot points. But what they did show managed to bust a theory I had. Until I saw this I assumed Hawkins would be entirely evacuated at the start of Season 5, covered in Upside-Down ash and crawling with Demo-things, and the government would have fenced the entire area off and put soldiers in front to make sure no one gets in. And then the plot would be the gang had to somehow sneak back in there and stop Vecna and the Mind Flayer for good. I was basing this on the

Three new actors and Linda Hamilton? This is getting exciting! It'll be interesting to see how they integrate these new faces into the established group dynamic. Especially with Hamilton's experience, she's bound to bring some serious acting chops to the table. Maybe she'll play a mentor figure to Eleven, or perhaps a government agent with a hidden agenda? Eight episodes or eight movies? Honestly, the number doesn't matter as much as the quality. Stranger Things has always been known for its tight storytelling, and I trust the Duffer Brothers to deliver a satisfying conclusion. Spin-off with no connection? That's a head-scratcher. The Duffers love creating interconnected stories. Maybe the spin-off will focus on another experiment gone wrong, or perhaps a different group of kids facing their own Upside Down threats? Stranger Things has definitely opened the door for a wider universe, and Finn Wolfhard guessing the plot right off the bat? That kid is definitely onto something!

Feels like forever ago I was freaking out about the Demogorgon with my bestie. Seeing normal sets is trippy though, maybe they're just having a chill school year before all hell breaks loose again? Gonna miss those Hawkins kids tons, they grew up way too fast. But hey, at least they got some epic stories to tell their grandkids, right? Here's hoping for the best final season ever!

Hawkins under quarantine with soldiers? That would have been an intense way to start the season! But seeing "normal sets" makes me wonder if the season will explore the psychological toll of these constant Upside Down threats. Maybe the characters are struggling to maintain a normal life while knowing the danger could return at any moment. New actors and Linda Hamilton? This has me thinking about the "chosen one" narrative. Will Eleven get a mentor in Hamilton or perhaps face a rival with similar powers? Eight episodes or eight movies? The length isn't as important as the emotional payoff. Stranger Things has always been about the bond between these characters, and I'm curious to see how their relationships evolve in the final season. Spin-off with no connection? That's interesting. Maybe the Duffer Brothers want to explore different themes within the horror genre, or perhaps they'll tackle a completely new story altogether. Stranger Things has a way of defying expectations, and Finn Wolfhard guessing the plot right off the bat? That kid is clearly paying close attention!

I love how unpredictable Stranger Things is - that's what makes it so awesome. The Duffer Brothers always keep us guessing, and that's part of the show's charm. Those regular high school scenes might be a sneaky misdirection; maybe the Upside Down’s influence is hidden or slowly creeping back. And with new characters like Nell Fisher and Alex Breaux, we can expect some fresh dynamics and surprises. About the conflicting statements about the season's length, maybe it means we’re getting more content than we thought. I’m staying optimistic and trusting that the Duffer Brothers will give us a satisfying conclusion.

It's amazing to think how much the characters have grown since season one! Remember when Eleven was a terrified kid hiding in the woods and Mike was just a nerdy kid on a bike? Now they're facing down interdimensional monsters and navigating complex relationships. Seeing their development is a huge part of what makes Stranger Things so engaging. The new actors are interesting, but I'm also curious to see how the established characters evolve in the final season. Will Hopper finally confess his feelings to Joyce? Can Dustin maintain his goofy charm while dealing with the trauma of past encounters with the Upside Down? And how will Eleven continue to balance her newfound power with a somewhat normal teenage life? The Duffer Brothers have done a fantastic job of weaving character growth into the larger narrative, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds in the final chapter. Here's hoping everyone gets a satisfying conclusion to their story!

I can't help but speculate on who might not make it through Season 5. The Duffer Brothers have a knack for tugging at our heartstrings, and I have a feeling we’re in for some significant losses. If I had to guess, I think Steve Harrington might be at risk. He’s become such a beloved character over the seasons, and his heroic arc seems ripe for a tragic, sacrificial ending. Another possibility is Eleven. Her story has been central from the beginning, and her death could be a poignant way to conclude the battle against the Upside Down. Max, who’s already had a close brush with death, might also face an uncertain fate. The addition of new characters like Nell Fisher, Alex Breaux, and Jake Connelly makes me think some of the original cast might not make it to the end. It's going to be an emotional rollercoaster, but those high stakes are part of what makes Stranger Things so compelling.

Hope Steve Survives! He's come way too far since season one, from that douchey jock to the ultimate babysitter/hero. Who else is gonna protect Dustin from Demodogs and dole out epic hairspray advice? Gotta admit, I was worried they might off him in season 3, but nope! He survived the ice cream scooping incident, the Upside Down, and even a pesky Russian soldier. The Duffer Brothers gotta give Steve a happy ending this season, right? The guy deserves it!

I've been a fan since the first season, and I can't believe we're already talking about the final one. The dedication from the cast and crew really shows, and hearing Millie Bobby Brown reflect on her growth is touching. It's clear this season will be a culmination of years of hard work and storytelling. With the Duffer Brothers so involved, I have high hopes for a strong, satisfying conclusion.

Seeing the first look at season five is bittersweet. Stranger Things has been such a big part of my life since it premiered. Millie Bobby Brown and the rest of the cast have grown up alongside the fans, and it’s touching to see their excitement. The Duffer Brothers' dedication to quality is evident, and I trust them to deliver a fitting conclusion. The addition of new cast members adds fresh intrigue. I’m ready for an emotional rollercoaster as we say goodbye to Hawkins.
