Soon, you’ll be able to get A Good Night’s Rest. Rookery Interactive, a new indie studio founded and staffed by marginalized creators, is working on their debut title, what they’ve deemed a “cozy horror” game. How do those two things go together? Like this… It’s your first time away from home — you’ve just started your first semester of university. By day things are cozy — you manage resources, socialize with others, and attend classes. But when night falls, that’s when the horror sets in. Your dreams give way to nightmares and the worries you build up during the day become actual monsters after midnight. The only way to make it to the next day is to literally confront your anxieties. Decisions you make in both worlds will alter the game’s story. If you’re looking for a rare 100% guilt-free purchase, you may have found it. Rookery made it part of their mission during the development of this title to avoid the toxicity, abuse and workplace crunch you hear about

This is such a cool concept for a game! College is a big adjustment for everyone, and it's totally normal to feel anxious or stressed during that time. A Good Night's Rest sounds like a really relatable story, especially for people who might be dealing with anxiety or mental health issues. The fact that your decisions carry over between the day and night worlds is interesting too – it kind of makes you think about how the things you do during the day can affect your sleep at night. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for this game's release!

So, this game is basically about managing your stress in college? That's a pretty interesting idea. I can see how facing your anxieties head-on in a dream world could be a cool way to deal with them in real life. I wonder if there are any takeaways you can learn from the game that you can apply to your own life, like relaxation techniques or stress management tips? If so, that would be a cool bonus on top of the whole horror game aspect.

It's great to see a game that focuses on mental health awareness. Using a horror theme to explore anxieties is an interesting approach, and it could be a really effective way to help people understand and cope with their own anxieties.

Oooh, a game with choices that affect the story? Sign me up! I love replaying games and seeing how different decisions can lead to different outcomes. I wonder how many different endings there are in A Good Night's Rest? Hopefully there's a good amount of replay value to keep me coming back for more
