Who Wants An "Erotic Thriller" M3GAN Spinoff?

Well, this is a choice. Blumhouse is the production company behind many recent horror hits both scary and silly, sometimes both at once — like when we got M3GAN. The scheming, boogie-dancing she-bot captured the hearts of the world and gained a deal for an immediate sequel (well, not IMMEDIATE). Even though we don’t have that sequel yet, Blumhouse is already thinking “spinoff.” And here’s where it gets weird. The proposed film is called Soulm8te (notice the 8), an “erotic thriller” set in the “M3GAN Universe” about a man who, like the creator of M3GAN, creates a robot to replace the role of a loved one. In M3GAN it was a little girl’s parents; in Soulm8te it’s a wife.
