Today is the day for Super Fighting Robot Mega Man to shine on Nintendo Switch Online. This week’s update consists of ALL FIVE titles — for Game Boy, that is. These come from a time when the handheld and console markets were completely separated and it was nearly impossible to get an exact port of something you played on the TV to work with a device on the go. There were exceptions to this, but they usually cost a small fortune and had a battery life of 15 minutes. Most gamers in the 90s went with Game Boy, where most NES and SNES hits were reproduced, but not duplicated. Mega Mans 1 through 5 on Game Boy are not the same as Mega Mans 1 through 5 on the NES.
