“Crash” is a Korean drama series, released in 2024, with 12 episodes, categorized as Action, Crime, Police Procedure Drama, and Comedy. ♦ Meet the TCI Team In“Crash”, Cha Yeon-Ho has impressive credentials. He attended a top university and studied mathematics. He has special skills that can best be put to use as a member of the TCI (Traffic Crime Investigation) team. Only … he doesn’t know how to drive. Isn’t it ironic? The other TCI team members include: Jung Chae-Man used to be assigned to the violent crimes division. He gets credit for organizing the TCI team. Working in the violent crimes unit he recognized there were a lot of traffic crimes that were slipping through the cracks. Min So-Hee, is good at martial arts and fortunately for Cha Yeon-Ho, the woman can drive! Woo Dong-Ki knows all there is to know about cars which makes him a valuable addition to the TCI team. Eo Hyun-Kyung is also skilled in martial arts; particularly, taekwondo, judo, and boxing. Cha Yeon-Ho did

Hm, "Crash" sounds interesting, but I'm a bit wary. Mixing comedy with serious themes like murder and insurance fraud can be tricky. It all depends on execution. A show can be hilarious one moment and fall flat on its face the next. Also, the whole "doesn't know how to drive but is a math genius" thing with the main character feels a bit cliché. Still, the high rating on Dramabeans is tempting. Maybe I'll give it a shot, but I'm keeping my expectations in check.

This is right up my alley! A cop drama with a twist? A team dedicated to catching traffic-related criminals? Sign me up! And the fact that there's a strong female lead who can kick butt is a major plus. Who needs Batman when you have Min So-Hee, right? I love how they explore the darker side of car accidents - insurance scams and all.

Lee Min-Ki? Sold! The guy is fantastic, and I loved him in "Behind Your Touch." The description of Cha Yeon-Ho with his "magical" analytical skills is intriguing. A character with a unique ability can be a lot of fun to watch, especially if it helps solve crimes in unconventional ways. I'm also curious about the dynamic between Cha Yeon-Ho and Min So-Hee. Partners who initially clash but learn to work together are a classic K-drama trope, and I'm always interested to see how it plays out.

This is a refreshing take on the police procedural genre. Focusing on a specialized unit like TCI is something I haven't seen before. It allows the writers to delve into the nitty-gritty of traffic accidents and investigate the why behind them. The article mentions the character Jung Chae-Man who used to be in violent crimes. I wonder what motivated him to create the TCI team. Was there a specific case that sparked his interest? These are the kind of details that can add depth to the story.

I try not to judge a drama by its synopsis alone. Sometimes the descriptions don't do the show justice. The fact that "Crash" has such high ratings on Dramabeans, a platform known for its critical K-drama fandom, is definitely encouraging. A show that can blend humor with serious themes successfully is a rare gem. I'll add "Crash" to my watchlist and keep an open mind!
