“Night of the Undead” is a Korean movie, released in 2020, and categorized as thriller, horror, dark comedy, science fiction (sci-fi), and supernatural. This is another one of those movies where the people of Earth are in panic mode because of “visitors” from outer space. ♦ He’s Unbreakable “Night of the Undead” starts with a scene that immediately lets the viewers know that Earth is being visited by … ??? … a being who is obviously not from planet Earth. “The movie begins by introducing a unique new life form called an “unbreakable,” an alien who does not die or get hurt easily. These aliens disguise themselves in human form and live among people on Earth.” (Quote Source) Aliens disguised as humans? Yep. It figures. But nobody cares about that. All the humans want to know is: Do they come in peace? Or … Will their presence cause the extinction of humankind? I mean … Are they going to put something in the water? So-Hee and Man-Gil are happily married.

So, I caught "Night of the Undead" recently, and let me tell you, it was quite the quirky experience. The blend of genres kept me guessing throughout, and Lee Jung-hyun's performance was top-notch. Sure, some parts felt a bit rushed, but overall, it was a fun ride. Definitely worth a watch if you're into offbeat comedies with a sci-fi twist!

Personally, I wasn't sold on it. I mean, sure, the premise was unique, but the execution felt a bit lacking. The humor was hit-or-miss for me, and I found myself scratching my head at some of the revelations. Plus, the character development left much to be desired. Overall, not my cup of tea, but hey, to each their own!

So, "Night of the Undead" huh? I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. The sheer absurdity of it all had me chuckling from start to finish. Lee Jung-hyun nailed her role, and the supporting cast brought some real comedic chops to the table. Yeah, it was a bit cheesy at times, but hey, that's part of the charm, right? Definitely a guilty pleasure kind of flick!

The blend of genres kept me on my toes, and I couldn't help but chuckle at some of the absurdity. Lee Jung-hyun was a standout, bringing both humor and heart to her role. Sure, it had its flaws, but it was definitely an entertaining watch overall.

So, "Night of the Undead." Where do I even begin? Honestly, I was expecting more. The premise had so much potential, but it felt like the film never quite reached it. The humor fell flat for me, and the plot felt disjointed. Plus, some of the characters were just downright annoying. Overall, not a fan.
