Two new expansions are on the way for Free League’s TTRPG Ruins of Symbaroum, and one is so big this isn’t even all of it. The new campaign book The Throme Of Thorns will be released in two halves — only Part 1 has been announced for release.

This Throne of Thorns announcement has me absolutely hyped! The fact that it's compatible with the 5E ruleset is a game-changer. I can't wait to dive into Wrath of the Warden and The Witch Hammer – two full-length adventures for levels 7-9. The 200+ pages and over 50 stat blocks promise an epic journey. Pre-ordered my copy already; spring can't come soon enough!

The World of Symbaroum expansion sounds like a dream come true for lore enthusiasts like me. I'm especially looking forward to the intricate details about the seven adventure landscapes and the expansion of Thistle Hold, Yndaros, and Karvosti. Historical secrets and plot hooks? Count me in! This is not just a campaign book; it's an immersive journey into the heart of Symbaroum's rich narrative

Interesting move making it compatible with 5E. I've always been a Ruins of Symbaroum fan, and the inclusion of more than 20 color maps and 50 stat blocks has me intrigued. The tactical possibilities seem endless, and those journey events will add a dynamic element to gameplay. I'm eager to see how the adventures in towns, forests, and ruins unfold with these new tools at our disposal.

I'm a bit cautious about the 5E compatibility. Ruins of Symbaroum has its own unique feel, and I hope this doesn't dilute it. That said, the promise of 200+ pages and detailed adventure landscapes is intriguing. I'll keep an eye on early reviews before deciding if I want to add this to my collection. Anyone else feeling a tad uncertain about the 5E integration?
