LionWing Publishing has translated quite a few Japanese TTRPGs, but today’s subject, Eldritch Escape: Tokyo, marks a milestone for the company…it will be the first tabletop game to be simultaneously released in both Japan and America at the same time, in both Japanese and English respectively. LionWing is working with design studio Draconian in Japan to make this happen.

Eldritch Escape: Tokyo is a game-changer for sure. I've been a fan of LionWing Publishing's work, and this simultaneous release in Japan and America is a big step. The idea of a city in perpetual darkness with mind-controlled citizens and resilient hunters is just mind-blowing. It's like an adrenaline rush, and I can't wait to dive into this world, uncover the Eldritch's secrets, and see how our trust in the Bellwether plays out

This game sounds intriguing! I love the concept of Eldritch Escape: Tokyo. It's not every day you get to battle giant monsters while trying to unravel the mysteries of a dark, clueless city. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the crowdfunding campaign on October 31.

I'm quite curious about Eldritch Escape: Tokyo. The idea of a city shrouded in darkness and controlled citizens is intriguing. I wonder how they'll handle the balance between dying and uncovering the game's secrets. Looking forward to more details.

As a tabletop RPG enthusiast, this announcement is seriously lit. The concept of battling monsters in a dark Tokyo setting and uncovering mysteries? Count me in! October 31 can't come soon enough. Ready to roll some dice!

The blend of dark urban fantasy and battling monsters is right up my alley. I've got a feeling this is going to be one unforgettable adventure, just like some of the best campaigns I've been a part of. Can't wait for that crowdfunding launch!

This game reminds me of some of the most memorable campaigns I've embarked upon, where the line between survival and transformation was constantly blurred. The idea of a city plunged into eternal darkness and mind-controlled citizens adds a unique layer of mystery and tension. Exploring the Eldritch's weaknesses and uncovering their terrifying secrets while battling horrific monsters is precisely the kind of challenge I crave in a TTRPG.

Escape: Tokyo has my creative gears turning. The concept of a dark, ominous Tokyo with citizens under the influence of eldritch forces opens up a wealth of narrative possibilities. I envision a gripping tale of survival, trust, and transformation in a world shrouded in darkness. The mechanic of players repeatedly dying and resurrecting, while uncovering the Eldritch's weaknesses, promises a rich and evolving storyline. I'm eager to take on the role of a hunter, explore the mysteries of this chilling world, and see how the players' trust in the enigmatic Bellwether unfolds.
