With less than a month to go, we finally have a trailer for the next season of Rick And Morty that reveals what the new voice actors for each of them sound like. Up until now, the evil genius and his hapless grandson were both voiced by co-creator Justin Roiland, but after the man was outed as a creep by several witnesses, he was fired from this and every other job he had.

As a die-hard fan of Rick and Morty, I've got to admit, I'm somewhat concerned about these new voice actors. I mean, Morty seems to be holding up just fine, but Rick? Well, it's no secret that Justin Roiland's unique take on the character was a significant part of what made Rick so iconic. Now, some folks say he sounds like he's battling a cold. It's a common cliche when animated characters get new voice actors, but this time, it might just ring true. And what's more, we might lose those moments of unscripted genius when Roiland would just go off on a tangent, improvising Rick's lines. That wild, unpredictable aspect of Rick's character could be history.

Solar Opposites took a different route when they had to replace Roiland's voice, and I've got to say, it worked for them. They went with a whole new actor, even sporting an English accent, and the change somehow suited that show's unique vibe. Having watched most of the new season, I can confidently say it hasn't lost any of its charm. So, even though Rick and Morty's transition is a bit jarring, there's hope that it'll adapt and maintain its brilliance.

It's intriguing that Adult Swim is keeping the identities of the new voice actors under wraps until the season premiere. They're taking this "let the show speak for itself" approach, and I can respect that. It shows confidence in the strength of the season and the new voices

I had a hunch that they might go the route of hiring a sound-alike for Rick and Morty, but it's not surprising to hear that the new voice actor isn't a perfect match. A 72% similarity is quite significant, but it's also clear that capturing the essence of Justin Roiland's unique and iconic portrayal of Rick would be a monumental task. Even a slight deviation from that distinctive voice can be noticeable to fans who are deeply familiar with the character.

Change can be tough for fans, especially when it comes to beloved shows like Rick and Morty. However, I'm hopeful that over time, the new voices will find their footing, and fans will grow to accept and appreciate the evolution of the characters. After all, the show must go on, and it'll be interesting to see how this change plays out over the course of the new season.

It's clear that the decision to continue the show with new voice actors for Rick and Morty was not taken lightly. When a major cast member's actions put a show's future in jeopardy, fans often find themselves facing a tough choice. In this case, the show's creators have opted to move forward with new voices, which allows the series to carry on.

The drama surrounding Justin Roiland's departure from the show is hard to ignore. I mean, the man used his Rick and Morty fame to get close to young fans, and it's led to some disturbing allegations. It's tough when real-life controversies cast a shadow on something you're a fan of.

Rick and Morty without Justin Roiland just feels strange. Morty's voice is alright, but Rick sounds like he's lost his spark. I'm curious to see how the new voices will play out in the upcoming season.

Sooo like, I've checked out the new Rick voice, and it's not bad, man, especially in regular conversation. But when he starts yelling, it's a bit weird. I don't know how to feel about it, but you know what? My curiosity's got me clicking, so I'm still gonna watch it for sure!
