Touted as a global music extravaganza set on the alluring Standing Island, rumored to have once belonged to the notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar, the festival aimed to deliver opulence, epic revelries, and a lavish lifestyle. Yet, Sorokin’s shrewd eye for deception led her to decline the offer, effectively steering clear of McFarlane’s unfolding calamity. She saw through his veneer, recognizing that the Spirited Island was on a collision course with disaster. So she didnt get involved. Anna knows this party will be so basic.</p>

I can't help but wonder if I'm a bad person for finding a bit of dark humor in the Fyre Festival debacle. I mean, those cheese sandwich memes and the whole disaster were undeniably unfortunate for the attendees. But sometimes, laughter is a way to cope with the absurdity of situations. Geez, I was one of those unfortunate souls at the first Fyre Festival. The whole experience was surreal, and not in a good way.
