One Piece will it break the Hollywood Anime Adaptation curse?

Whoa, Netflix wants Stranger Things-level ratings? That's crazy! High expectations might cause problems. If the show can't match them, it might get axed. Big-budget shows don't always survive, even if they're awesome. I hope this show wont get Dark Crystalled.

To avoid a situation like Cowboy Bebop, the cast should give their all to engage positively with fans and social media. Their focus should be on promoting the show and building friendly interactions with fans. Engaging in conflicts, even with critics, would only reflect poorly on them. Instead, they should let fans come to their defense against any negativity, ensuring they don't face a fate similar to the Cowboy Bebop cast.

It's refreshing to see that this show has managed to steer clear of any fan controversies so far. Both the actors and the director are taking a different approach by choosing not to engage in fights or hurl insults at the haters. Their silence is speaking volumes, and their positive attitude towards the fans is commendable. It's quite the contrast to what happened with Cowboy Bebop, where a certain actress went down a path of woke and feminist controversy, ultimately leading to backlash from the anime's fanbase.

I'm definitely a big Mackenyu fan, and it's a bummer that Knights of the Zodiac didn't do well at the box office. But I'm holding out hope that this time, he'll have better luck crossing over to Hollywood. Seeing him as Zoro, I'm really rooting for Mackenyu to become a major Hollywood star. And you know what? I'm absolutely loving the chemistry of the whole cast on this show. It's a great feeling to see them all working so well together.

I'm truly amazed by the incredible dedication that Matt Owens has poured into producing this show. The props built in South Africa are simply mind-blowing, resembling scenes straight out of the manga and anime episodes. What's even more exciting is that this series is a perfect solution for those who are hesitant to dive into the anime's countless episodes. With its exclusive focus on manga content and the elimination of fillers, One Piece will finally be more accessible and appealing for a broader audience.

I'm really pumped that Oda, the creator of One Piece, is totally on board with the choices they've made for the show. He even handpicked the cast himself! They're totally sticking to the manga's story, and the actors are fans of One Piece too. So when they're acting, you can really feel their love for it. It's awesome!

I'm truly fed up with those directors and producers who don't even respect the original material. It's beyond frustrating to witness individuals like Ryan Singer wrecking X-Men, Michael Bay turning Transformers into non-stop explosions, and Paul Anderson making Resident Evil into a self-insert fanfiction starring his wife. And don't even get me started on actors who couldn't care less about the source material. Just look at those MCU actors who never even bothered to pick up a comic book. The One Piece adaptation is a unique case because the producer is a genuine fan, and the actors all grew up with One Piece. It's genuinely exciting to finally witness an adaptation created by a fan, for the fans.

My only gripe is that Luffy's stretch and rubber powers don't translate well into live action. They changed Kamala's powers in the live-action Ms. Marvel for a reason – stretchy arm powers look kind of weird in real life. I think it'll take some time to get used to.
