SDCC 2023: Checking In On Rick And Morty

Rick and Morty is in an interesting place. Halfway through a massive gazillion-episode order, the show’s co-creator got into a scandal and had to leave. Behind-the-scenes stories suggest Justin Roiland hasn’t contributed any serious part to Rick and Morty’s writing in years, so there will be no changes there. The one thing he DID do, though, is voice the two central characters in every episode. Now there’s a hole.

The behind-the-scenes stories are intriguing. It seems Justin Roiland's absence in the writing department won't change the show's direction, but his voice as Rick and Morty is irreplaceable. I'm curious to see who they'll cast for those roles!

I heard that Season 7 is already completed, but the recasting delay is making it hard to predict when it'll be released. I'm patient, though, because I know they want to get the voices just right. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the rerun episodes on Adult Swim.

It's a bit sad that Justin Roiland won't be voicing Rick and Morty anymore, but I'm relieved they found soundalikes for the characters. The show's producers seem confident in the changes, and I trust they'll deliver an amazing season 7. The announcement of the Rick and Morty anime is just icing on the cake! I can't wait to see how the Japanese twist adds a new dimension to our favorite duo.

Domestic abuse is a very bad thing, and it's sad to hear about i someone like Justin Roiland did it. We should help and support people who have gone through such tough times. Even though he won't be voicing Rick and Morty anymore, the show will still be good with new voice actors. Let's be kind to each other and make sure everyone is safe and treated with respect.

Fans of Rick and Morty are really lucky that the show isn't canceled, even with the accusations against Justin Roiland. In some other shows, things might have ended, but we still get to enjoy our favorite characters and adventures. It's important to remember that people involved in making the show are separate from any issues, and it's great they're continuing with the series. Let's appreciate the hard work of the team and keep supporting the show.

It's bittersweet that the upcoming season might be delayed due to the voice recasting process, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I'm really looking forward to seeing Squanchy and the gang of friends return. I'm relieved that Rick and Morty is still on because I love the show! It's not fair when a show gets canceled due to something personal. The whole cast should not be punished for someone's mistake.I was worried they might cancel Rick and Morty after the accusations, but I'm relieved they're sticking with it.

I'm a huge Rick and Morty fan, and I can't believe there's a massive gazillion-episode order halfway through! It's a shame about the co-creator's scandal, but I'm glad they're finding new voice actors who can come close to the original characters. Justin Roiland should have not done what he did but I understand why such actions got him fired.
