Noh Sang Chun (played by Heo Sung Tae) is a thug who turned into a scammer. He got scammed by “a friend” and that’s how he learned. He was already a criminal but wasn’t involved in scamming. However, having learned the hard way “how it’s done”, he became a master scammer. He stole a lot of money from various people and then when he was about to get arrested … he disappeared. Actually, he died! At least, that’s what the official police report said.

The victims who appear at the crime scene to obstruct the police investigation are an intriguing addition to the story. It's understandable that they'd want their money back, but is it worth putting their lives in danger? It's admirable that Detective Goo Do Han is willing to break the rules in order to solve a case. Sometimes thinking outside the box is the only way to get results. It's captivating to see how Detective Goo Do Han manages his work while dealing with corrupt officials and investigators. It's not an easy job, but he does it well.

Oh my goodness, I just finished watching Decoy and I am blown away! Jang Geun Suk did an amazing job as Detective Goo Do Han, he really brought the character to life. I also loved Heo Sung Tae's performance as Noh Sang Chun, he was so convincing as a master scammer turned serial killer.

I've been watching Decoy, and I'm amazed at how much drama they packed into only 12 episodes! The article's question ignited my curiosity, and I'm glad it's fiction so that no actual serial killer is glorified.

I understand, right? It's such a distinctive and exciting concept. In addition, the victims are those who were deceived by the deceased. Detective Goo Do Han, the show's main character, is also very cool. It's cool that he once worked as a lawyer and is attempting to atone for the way the police handled the murder case of his sister. And he's really good at cracking cases!

Decoy is the most recent Kdrama I've seen, and I have to say that Jang Geun Suk's portrayal of Detective Goo Do Han pleasantly surprised me. Despite his preference for comedic roles, he brought his A-game to this crime thriller. Don't even get me started on Heo Sung Tae as the late serial killer Noh Sang Chun; he was terrifying. I strongly recommend that anyone who enjoys a good mystery watch this series.
