Stranger Things Animated Series Announced By Netflix

We’ve got one more season of Stranger Things to go, and then that’s it for the residents of Hawkins, right? The only thing we’ve heard about potential spinoffs is that they’d have nothing to do with the original show at all. The show has such a great cast of characters, it seems a waste not to do anything else with them. But there IS hope! Eleven and her friends WILL live to see another day — just in a more illustrated form.

What is going to be the timeline of this cartoon? Is it a prequel/midquel of season or is it going to be a continuation after Season 5? Going Animated is kind of a smart move since they are all growing up so fast. In Animation they can reprise the characters without worrying about aging. I have a feeling some actors may not return because they are now too big for a tv show. A lot of them had been doing movies lately.

You fear of them going for Calarts but most American made Animated series these days are using CalArts. I heard its a popular style because it resonates faster to kids like Steven Universe and Owl House did. I would have prefer if them make it an anime instead.

Unless it's a prequel or will center on new characters, all of the original actors must return to portray the their characters again.

I was thinking it might be its own thing, similar to how in the 1980s and 1990s so many large movies and sometimes live action television shows were being adapted into kids animation shows. I've always imagined an animated Stranger Things in the style of Saturday morning cartoons. I'm curious if this will be a direct sequel to the first show or more of a spinoff established in the same universe.

An animated series would give fans a new way to experience the world of "Stranger Things" and could potentially explore new storylines and characters.

Has Netflix announced when the premier date is?

Millie Bobbie Brown is now engaged to get married and she was a little girl when she started this show. Animation stops characters from aging.

I understand that some people may have reservations about the usage of this particular style, which has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. Even though it tends to attract younger audiences, as can be observed in shows such as Steven Universe and Owl House, I can appreciate that some individuals may favor a different aesthetic direction. For those who prefer a different style, perhaps a look inspired by anime would be more suitable.
