SwissThinker

Ciao! My name is SwissThinker, and I'm a proud Italian living in the vibrant city of Barcelona. I'm a lover of all things philosophical and have been an avid reader since I was a teenager. I'm always looking for new and challenging ideas to expand my knowledge and perspective on the world.

Growing up in a small village in the Tuscan countryside, I always felt like I didn't quite fit in with the locals. I was always more interested in reading books than in socializing, and I had a constant thirst for knowledge that just couldn't be quenched. When I was 16, I decided to drop out of high school and pursue my own path, much to the chagrin of my parents. They didn't quite understand my passion for philosophy, and they were worried that I was throwing away my future. But I knew that I had to follow my dreams, even if it meant taking a non-traditional path.

After dropping out of high school, I started working as a barista in a small café in Rome. I spent my days serving coffee and chatting with locals, but my mind was always elsewhere. I spent my free time devouring books on philosophy, science, and history, and I even started learning French and German on my own. I knew that I had a thirst for knowledge that could never be quenched, and I was determined to keep learning and growing no matter what.

When I turned 22, I decided to take a leap of faith and move to Barcelona. It was a big change, but I knew that I needed a fresh start and a new challenge. I started working at a small bookstore, which gave me plenty of opportunities to read and discuss books with like-minded individuals. I also started taking Spanish classes, which was a bit of a challenge at first, but I quickly fell in love with the language and the culture.

Now, three years later, I'm still in Barcelona and still pursuing my dreams. I spend my days reading, learning, and exploring the city, and I couldn't be happier. I still haven't gone back to finish high school, and I don't know if I ever will. But I do know that I'm following my heart and my passions, and that's all that really matters in the end.

In my free time, you can usually find me hiking in the mountains outside of Barcelona, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or practicing my language skills. I hope to one day write a book on philosophy that will challenge people's perspectives and inspire them to think more deeply about the world around them. And who knows? Maybe I'll even finish high school someday. But for now, I'm just enjoying the journey and taking things one day at a time. Thanks for reading, and feel free to reach out if you want to chat about philosophy or anything else that's on your mind!
