This premise sounds unhinged and I mean that as a compliment. A city run by chefs with star ratings deciding your fate sounds like a stressed out cooking show host anxiety dream turned into a full series. Sign me up immediately, October cannot come fast enough at this point.

I think a sequel could work but only if they take enough time and dont rush it before the end of year deadline. Quality over speed should matter more here. If Gerwig, Robbie and Gosling all come back with genuine interest instead of contract pressure, the outcome could surprise people. honestly...

The character setup is what stands out the most. A frustrated scientist meeting unpredictable aliens gives a strong base for story development. It allows both humor and serious moments without forcing either. The idea of experiencing the same story in two formats is appealing, but only if both...

I really like practical effects too because they feel more real when I watch a movie. One film I always think about is Mad Max: Fury Road. I know some CGI was used, but a lot of the stunts and explosions were actually done for real, and you can feel the weight of every crash. Another one is...

DC is really going all in on Supergirl this summer. I like that they are mixing new stories with reprints because not everyone read the old stuff. The special sounds cool with three different writers – Sophie Campbell doing Lobo in Midvale is perfect because she draws tough characters so well. I...

This is pointless. Netflix doesn't care about theaters. They only do it when it makes business sense. Here it's super limited so they can say "look, we gave it a premiere!" without spending much. The Paris Theater in NY and Netflix House? That's just for influencers and press probably. Regular...

This interview is great. Artix talking about learning assembly and breaking things while Dale begs him to stop editing is so relatable. Every coder knows that pain. The game has house buying, dog companion, color armor secrets, Konami code penalty… they really packed it in for NES limits. Sad...

Okay, I'm not usually into the Absolute line but Absolute Green Arrow #1 has me interested. A killer taking out billionaires with green arrows and Dinah investigating other archers? That's smart. Sounds like a proper thriller instead of just another superhero book. The whole month has this vibe...

I am drawn to the nonfiction release, Gender Queer: Annotated Edition. Comics can be more than fiction, and it’s exciting to see Oni exploring cultural and personal reflection through this format. Including scholarly commentary adds value for readers who want to understand context and impact...

I do not think this will sell well. People who want consoles already have PlayStation or Xbox. People who want PCs build their own rigs. Steam Deck worked because it was portable, something new. But a stationary Steam Machine feels unnecessary. Unless Valve prices it aggressively, it will end up...

This sounds cool, but I am unsure how replayable it will be. Once you learn everyone’s Dark Secret, won’t it lose tension? Maybe it depends on how random the setup can be each round. Still, I appreciate that it focuses on social deduction without forcing combat or heavy dice rolling.

I have been waiting for Joe Higashi to come back for years, and I am happy the developers finally made him central to the game. I like how Fatal Fury allows characters to grow older, unlike King of Fighters where time feels frozen. The glasses are a funny touch, but they also make sense since he...

I am trying to stay realistic about Man of Tomorrow. The concept art is strong, and the idea of Lex Luthor in a power suit is classic, but I am worried about the story. Using a screwdriver to defeat him sounds clever in a comic book, but it could feel strange in a movie. I hope the writers make...

I am happy to hear that Man of Tomorrow will come in 2027. I loved the first movie, and I am curious about Superman’s next challenge. Lex Luthor with a power suit seems like a big problem, but I like that Superman is clever enough to use a screwdriver. The concept art looks very strong. I also...

What makes this announcement interesting is the emotional angle Thompson brings to her description. She clearly has a personal connection to Buffy, and that might help. In recent years, many reboots have lacked emotional honesty. They recreate settings and plot points but forget the feelings...
