This official fanart shows she is not from the slums! She lives in the suburbs! Her family is not poor! This is her practicing with her Kuya

Yasmine sounds like an interesting addition. A high school student looking for her brother is a classic fighting game story. I like that Capcom is introducing fresh characters from different countries instead of just bringing back the same old roster from thirty years ago. Her design with the...

These previews often end up shaping the early hype for the winter season. If the episodes shown are strong, the conversation online becomes more energetic. The Blu-ray schedule is also useful. I like to buy one or two series each month, and December has more choices than usual. I think I will...

In the Philippines, Super Sentai was already a huge hit long before Power Rangers came along. Shows like Bioman, Maskman, Fiveman, Jetman, and Turbo Rangers were all over TV and dubbed in our local language, so they had a massive following. We loved those shows, especially with the action, the...

I'm not from America. I had assumed that Donald Trump's antics would never have an impact on me, but they do. I depend on U.S. dollars as a freelance online worker, and I believe that my pay has decreased as a result of the U.S. dollar's decline. Additionally, because importers were forced to...

I think the most interesting example is the smartwatch from Dick Tracy. When I was younger, I thought a watch that could talk was only for comics and cartoons. Now I use my smartwatch every day to check messages, calls, and even monitor my blood pressure. The funny part is, it is not even a...

You know what, as a Filipino, I have to say we have a similar monster called the Manananggal. The big difference is that instead of the head and entrails detaching like the Krasue, it is the upper torso that separates from the lower body at the waist. When it does, it grows wings—sometimes...

As someone who grew up in Southeast Asia, I remember playing Flying Shark in local arcades during school breaks. It was very hard but also very satisfying when you made it past a stage. I am glad they included screen filters because the old CRT look adds a special charm. I will probably start...

Too expensive in my country, A switch 2 game is 3000 bucks in my country's currency. Steam games are cheaper

What if the cult's influence, which we see in 'Silent Hill 1' and '3,' actually originates in Japan? The 1960s were a time of significant social change and spiritual exploration, and it's not impossible that a precursor to the Order existed in Japan, perhaps even influencing the events that led...

I’m actually from the Philippines, and this whole Dear Santa thing reminds me a lot of a movie we had here called Dear Satan. The plot is almost identical, where Satan pretends to be Santa and gets involved with a child’s Christmas wishes. The big difference is that Dear Satan caused a huge...

Its fictionalized btw, Cheryl Bradshaw ghosted him on the date which saves her life. In this movie though, its life a what if she shows up.

Production I.G. is a legendary studio, and Yoshimi Itazu is a talented director. I've been following the news about this film closely, and I'm excited to see it on the big screen. The concept is unique and intriguing, and I'm sure it will be a visually stunning film. The idea of a department...

Bringing Heihachi back feels like a massive step backward. I get the appeal of nostalgia, but game development should be about moving forward. They should've used this opportunity to introduce fresh faces and new storylines. Resurrecting a character just to appease longtime fans seems like a...

You know, I'm excited about this Starship Troopers: Extermination game, but Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico again just rubs me the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, I love the cheesy fun of the first movie, but in the book by Robert Heinlein, Rico is Filipino! Van Dien's all-American portrayal just...
