I work adjacent to game dev and this story is so common, you would be shocked how many cool projects die because company politics get involved before the fun stuff even starts. Concept artists pour hours into ideas that executives kill in one meeting without even playing anything. Disney...

okay but who approved that Bison does not even remember killing Chun-Li dad, that is such a comic book villain thing to do and I love it so much. It adds this extra layer of tragic irony where she is chasing revenge against someone who does not even see her as important. That kind of detail...

I still remember playing the 2013 reboot when it first came out. It was very different from the older Tomb Raider games, but I ended up liking it a lot. The survival style worked for me, and Lara's growth felt believable. Seeing it get another physical release is nice, especially for people who...

John Cena has become surprisingly reliable in comedy. When I first saw him transition from wrestling to acting, I expected mostly action movies, but he seems much more comfortable making fun of himself. This sounds like the kind of role that fits him. The real question for me is Eric André. If...

I’m kind of disappointed she probably won’t show up in Street Fighter 6 World Tour if the story really wraps up with Ingrid. Yasmine feels like the exact kind of character that would work well in that mode. The whole idea of her searching for her brother already gives her a strong personal hook...

Apparently a lot of the team that worked on World Tour got laid off, at least that is what people in the community are saying. If that is true, it actually explains a lot about why support for new World Tour content is stopping so suddenly. It does not feel like a creative decision anymore, more...

I honestly would not be shocked if tournament players start asking for Ingrid bans during the first month. Screen control, cosmic attacks, weird movement, and that floating mascot thing connected to her update already sound like a balance nightmare waiting to happen. Capcom sometimes releases...

This whole Alex storyline mess is funny in a bad way. I loved his return at first but the plot twist turned him into Alabamex memes everywhere. The Game of Thrones jokes are nonstop. Capcom actually making a story patch for dialogue is wild. Hope the fix makes his backstory clean again so we can...

I actually like that Peter is still struggling after five years. For me it feels more real. Not everything gets fixed fast, even in superhero stories. Him still thinking about how to tell MJ and Ned makes sense because that is not an easy thing to say. If someone told me we had a past together...

Finally some good Star Wars news. Trailer looks sharp, story feels fresh with Rotta stepping up. Mando balancing kill mission and dad duties is relatable in a weird way. Grogu outliving him by centuries adds real weight to their bond. Pedro more helmet-off is risky but I think it works now...

I never thought I’d care this much about building a game world underwater, but Life Below has me hooked just from the trailer. I love the idea of managing a reef and all the different creatures, and it actually sounds relaxing, not stressful. Seeing the Wildlife View where you can watch fish and...

I didn’t expect Disney to go that far, and it makes me a little concerned about screen time. Some of them are classics, but with the main Avengers also returning, I don’t know if everyone will get a chance to shine. I’m still excited, though. Chris Evans returning is huge, and I’m curious if...

I feel like this sequel could really expand the world in interesting ways. The concept of the High Seat of the Council makes it feel like there is a bigger universe behind the story. I like movies that build on the first one but also give new characters and stakes room to grow. Grace and Faith’s...

Who asked for this generic bald guy? I mean, I get that he has sticks and can shock people with electricity, but really, did anyone raise their hand and say, “Yes, give me a bald ex–crime lord I barely remember”? He looks fine, I guess, but I was waiting for someone who actually makes me stop...

I don’t think Sega can manage this. Nintendo has Mario, which is more popular with families. Sonic is known, but not everyone connects with the brand anymore. His games are very hit or miss these days. A theme park based on Sonic could end up being empty after the first year if it’s not done...
