Final Fantasy 9 Re-Released On PlayStation 4

Square Enix announced at the PlayStation Tokyo Games Show that the classic role-playing game Final Fantasy 9 is coming to PlayStation 4. Several hours later, the game is now available on the PlayStation Store, with a discount for PlayStation Plus members.

While the re-release had not been officially announced until now, a leak earlier this year did suggest it would be making its way to the home console following ports of the game to Windows, Android, and iOS in 2016. Like the re-release of Final Fantasy 7 that released last year, this new version is enhanced to have new features and better visuals in cutscenes.
