Ubisoft announced that it will be delaying the release of Far Cry 3.
The original release date of September 4th will be pushed back to December 4th in North America. Since Europeans won’t be celebrating a holiday where copious amounts of turkey and cranberries are ingested, they will be able to get their hands on a copy on November 29th.
Dan Hay, a producer at Ubisoft, had this to say about the game’s delay:
[quote]We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience, Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.[/quote]
When Far Cry 3 is released, it will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
