Dying Light: The Following Story Trailer
Techland has begun to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding the highly anticipated and long awaited expansion for the developer’s massively successful, first-person zombie survival horror game, Dyinig Light: The Following. In addition, some new details for The Following expansion have also been released. You can check out the new story trailer in the player below.
In Dying Light: The Following, the main protagonist from Dying Light, Kyle Crane, is back. Crane and his group of survivors are now facing a new threat and possibly some hope for salvation. After Crane becomes hard-pressed by the circumstances, he leaves the city walls of Harran and goes to a remote region. However, this region has been taken over by a mysterious cult with unclear intentions. But now there are rumors of a way out of the madness of the zombie plague. There could be a potential cure, which Crane will either have to discover. But this cure could be nothing more than smoke and mirrors.
In the new trailer, there’s some footage of a cutscene. It looks like a survivor has been found by Kyle Crane’s group. He has a map to an area outside of Harran with a possible solution. However, this delirious and injured survivor warns Crane, “You don’t understand! You don’t understand!” It looks like from the trailer, the answers Crane might be looking for are nothing more than a trap for an evil cult.
Dying Light: The Following is set for a February 9, 2016 release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The expansion will be available as an individual digital download for $19.99 or as part of the Dying Light Season Pass. New players can also play the expansion as part of the Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, which includes the original game, The Following expansion and all the other DLC and updates for the game.
