Dune: Part 2 is the long awaited sequel of the adaptation of a popular book franchise.
The First Dune film is a Pandemic success story because it made $402,027,830 back in 2021. It is a Hybrid release so it was also available on HBO Max which gave the platform new subscribers. Back in the 80s there was an attempt to make a Dune Live action. Sadly the film but it failed in the box office. In early 2000s there was a television miniseries adaptation too but its also a failure. Denis Villeneuve managed write and direct a Dune movie that gave Justice to the iconic book. It was always seen as unadaptable but he proved the critics wrong. Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya and David Bautista were all going to reprise their roles. Florence Pugh, Austin Butler ,Léa Seydoux and Josh Brolin also joins the cast. A Third film titled Dune Messiah is currently in the works, which shows Warner Media’s confidence to this franchise.
In the first film Zendaya barely had lines since she only appears in dream sequences but this time she will be a full pledge main character.

Paul Atreides(Timothée Chalamet), the principal character of Dune and Dune Part 2, is a young nobleman who embarks on a transforming voyage. Paul, born into the noble House Atreides, is tasked with directing the production of Spice on the arid planet Arrakis. He has no idea that his life will be permanently changed when he meets the Fremen, a nomadic tribe native to Arrakis.As Paul joins Chani (Zendaya), a powerful and intriguing Fremen warrior, their love becomes entwined with emotional and cosmic ramifications. Paul is divided between his strong love for Chani and his destiny as the pivotal character in averting a disastrous future that only he can see.
Driven by a passion for revenge, Paul Atreides goes on the attack against the conspirators guilty for his family’s demise. As the noble House Atreides is betrayed and decimated, Paul, along with his mother, Lady Jessica, played by Rebecca Ferguson, becomes the reluctant leader of the remaining members. They join forces with the Fremen, a fiercely autonomous and capable warrior culture that has long weathered Arrakis’ harsh environment.
Dune: Part Two will on theaters this November 3 2023.
