Your Path Of Glory has opened. Free League has now made the first expansion to the tabletop RPG Dragonbane available in the US.
Dragonbane is the oldest of Free League’s offerings. It was originally released in Scandinavia in 1982, and was only translated and brought to this country in recent years. Path of Glory first showed up in Sweden in 1985 but will be published in English for the first time this month. (It’s new to you — just ignore the Live Aid and New Coke references.)
Path of Glory was originally split into three separate parts, but the US version has been released as one volume. The original author, Roger Undhagen, has returned to revise the text, but it also has new illustrations by David Brasgalla and new cover art by Johan Egerkrans. The rules have been updated to the latest edition of Dragonbane and the book also includes a large double-sided map of the new region, painted by Francesca Baerald.
Coming to the legendary Dead Forest in search of treasure, glory and a solution to the ancient curse laying waste to the forest, the adventurers soon find themselves embroiled in an epic conflict reaching back to the very foundations of the world. The quest will take the adventurers through the depths of the forest, under the mountain, and into a strange new land where the fate of the world will be determined.
You can find Dragonbane: Path of Glory now in the Free League webshop, as well as in most hobby shops nationwide. The book will be offered in both a Standard Edition and a Collector’s Edition with faux leather cover with gold foil printing. And if you don’t have Dragonbane itself, it’s currently 20% off!
