Dragon Ball:Breakers is a asymmetricsurvival horror video game like Dead By Daylight and Resident Evil Resistance. An Asymmetric horror game is a genre where 1 Player will play the role of a killer while 3 to 4 helpless weak characters are played as Survivors. Dragon Ball is the last franchise to think about when it comes to a game of this genre. It is a Shonen Anime known for Martial Arts and Energy blast spamming. Dragon Ball does have powerful villains who are very scary for non combat characters. Instead of playing as Z-warriors like Goku, Vegeta, Picollo, Android 18, Gohan, etc… You will play as non combat characters like Woo Long and Bulma. Bulma may not be a warrior but she has always been the lead female character of the franchise. She invented the Dragon Radar, The Time Machine and other useful gadgets in the franchise.
The Killers of this game will be called Raiders, their purpose is to kill every single Survivors.
Dragon Ball: Breakers have bigger stakes because there are 7 Survivors!
Dragon Ball: Breaks gives spotlight to the underdog characters who are not fighters. They may not be as strong as Goku but they had survived with their brains. I mean Bulma managed to distract someone as dangerous as Goku Black to protect her son Trunks. This is a great opportunity to bring back Launch, A character who got deleted out of existence because Akira Toriyama, the author of the series forgot she exist.
The playable survivors will be able to use guns to protect themselves as distraction from the killers. Guns can distract killers but not kill them. Who would have thought that they can make a multiplayer horror game out of DBZ. I mean if you an ordinary Human or a shape sifting pig with no combat ability, It will be horrifying to face villains like Cell, Frieza and Majin Boo.
