Disney+ Announces WandaVision Spinoff “Agatha”

The Marvel Cinematic Universe TV miniseries shows have been some of Disney+’s most popular attractions. Originally they were thought of as one-offs, but Loki has been given a second season, and What If was just granted one today. WandaVision, however, was always meant to be eight episodes long no matter how popular it got.

Its purpose was to set up Scarlet Witch for her role in Doctor Strange 2, and nothing else can really be done until that movie comes out (it’s been delayed on top of everything). But Disney+ viewers are hungry for more witchiness…what would the folks in charge do without Wanda?

Suddenly they realized what they COULD do. It was right in front of their faces the whole time. It was Agatha all along!

Yes, Marvel just announced Agatha: House of Harkness, a spinoff starring the villain of WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn will of course be back in full cackling form. Jac Schaeffer, who served as head writer for the original series, will take charge of this one as well.

Agatha has only just been announced and not many details are known beyond what we just said. If all goes according to plan Ms. Harkness could be taking over your TV sets in either 2022 or 2023. Stay tuned!

And she killed Sparky too.
