DICKS: THE MUSICAL

Dicks: The Musical is the very first  Musical film from A-24.  A-24 movies always lack the budget but their movies are always full of hearts. They had won awards and they even had box office success. This company is known for taking risks. So It decided to make Dicks: The Musical and make a musical the whole family cannot watch.  Megan Thee Stallion had proven her popularity with her success in the Music Charts with lyrics your church going grandma will refuse to hear.

Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp plays the lead as separated Identical twins who met for the first time. They are not related but they do like twin.  This movie was an adaptation of a stage show titled F*cking Identical Twins.  They are the original actors from the stage version. Usually when a musical gets adapted, the stage cast got replaced by mainstream actors.

Expect the comedy of this film to be offensive and crass because it will be directed by Larry Charles. He directed The Dictator (2012) and Brüno (2009). People Behind Borat are the dirty minds for this movie.

DICKS: THE MUSICAL Official Trailer

Two business rivals realize that the two of them are identical twins. They try to Pull a 90s Lindsay Lohan and switch places so they can set up their parents.(Megan Mullally and Nathan Lane) They want to pull a “Parent Trap” in hopes their parents will be back together so they can be a family. Life is not a Disney movie though because there is no way their parents will be back together. Their father has a secret.. He likes the first word of this movie’s title. I don’t think this movie is for everyone but I know conservative Youtubers will target this on their vlogs. Dicks: the Musical will be erecting on theaters this coming  September 2023.

Yaas Queen ! Slay! As a die-hard fan of Megan Thee Stallion, I must say her song "WAP" changed my life in more ways than one. Just like the daring and edgy approach she brings to her music, Dicks: The Musical, with Megan's involvement, promises to be a bold and unforgettable experience. "WAP" empowered me to embrace my individuality, and I believe this film's unique concept will do the same, breaking barriers and norms. Megan's fearless attitude in the music world inspires me, and I'm excited to see her star power shine on the big screen. This collaboration between A-24 and Megan is a dream come true for her fans like me!

The upcoming film Dicks: The Musical seems like a riot! I'm a big fan of A-24's unique approach to filmmaking, and I'm glad they're taking a risk with this musical. LOL Fox news will be hating this movie. Their mouths are going to foam.

Dicks: The Musical is going to be a wild ride! I love A-24's dedication to taking risks and creating unique films The lead stars seem like a perfect fit for the roles of separated twins trying to unite their parents. The fact that they're using the original stage cast is a great sign, as they must have nailed their performances. Larry Charles' track record promises a comedy that's not for the faint-hearted, but I'm ready for the laughs and the surprises coming our way this September!

Dicks: The Musical is definitely not one I'd watch with my Christian grandma. The film's bold and crass humor would likely leave her quite shocked and appalled. It's essential to be mindful of our audience and choose movies that align with their sensibilities. While I might enjoy some edgy humor from time to time, it's best to save those movie nights for a more appropriate crowd. I'll be sure to pick something family-friendly for grandma's movie time!

Oh, no, not at all! There is no way I would even consider watching Dicks: The Musical as a Christian Republican woman. My values and beliefs are at odds with the content, which the title itself implies will be vulgar and offensive. Movies that support family entertainment and adhere to conservative values are my favorites. I disagree with this disgusting material. I'll pass on this and go with something that aligns with my core principles. It's important to exercise judgment when choosing the media we watch, and this movie is obviously not for me.

If I'm being honest, I'm not sure what to make of this. Although it doesn't seem likely, it could be good. Not unless the individuals in charge of the trailer utterly botched it. A24 excels at drama and horror; why then are they taking this chance

A-24 is known for unique and daring projects, but this one crosses a line with its explicit content. Megan Thee Stallion's involvement may attract attention, but it feels like a cheap attempt to garner controversy. The storyline seems tasteless, and I can't imagine this film resonating with a broader audience. It's a shame to see A-24's reputation potentially tarnished by backing a project that lacks substance and relies on shock factor.I'm quite puzzled by the decision to make Dicks: The Musical. It's disappointing to see A-24, a company known for its meaningful and thought-provoking films, invest in a project that seems to rely solely on offensive humor.

I'm speechless, even. I'm literally writhing in agony just thinking about this terrible movie. It seems as though they combined all of the offensive and crude content into one film. I find it unbelievable that A-24 took this turn! I want to crawl under a rock just from the title alone. Why would anyone think that this is a good idea, oh why? I simply can't take it. My level of discomfort is extremely high. I'll be avoiding this movie like the plague.

Yes, honey! I'm dying to see Megan Thee Stallion in Dicks: The Musical! Queen Megan never fails to impress, and her talent knows no bounds. It's wonderful to see her branching out into new projects like this musical film. I'm looking forward to the outrageous humor and crazy storyline that will have us laughing our wigs off. Megan's charisma and chart-topping hits energize everything she does. This is going to be a spectacular film, and I can't wait to see her shine on the big screen. Bow down to the queen!
