DICE has officially announced Battlefield 1. The game is due out later this October. It will feature multiplayer gameplay and an adventure-filled single-player campaign. The game is being developed for Xbox One, PlayStation and Windows PC. In addition, DICE dropped the official reveal trailer for the game, which you can check out in the player below.
What’s interesting is that the new game will be set during World War I. It will feature battles in the Italian Alps, the deserts of Arabia and urban fights in a French city that’s under siege. EA and DICE have also confirmed a special collector’s edition for the game. It will be priced at $219.99 and come with the following features:

Exclusive cloth poster
Deck of playing cards
Messenger pigeon tube with exclusive DLC content
On top of that, there will be a public beta for the game, and players can sign up to get early access for the public beta by signing up to become a Battlefield Insider. More details on the beta will be revealed later on. Battlefield 1 hits the shelves on October 21 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
