Dead Space is a well known series that pretty much defined the ‘Horror-Shooter-Survival’ genre that is a common theme in today’s gaming industry. Originally released in October 2008 with the intent of being the ‘Scariest game to be created’ Dead Space has come a long way and is hoping to release the 3rd instalment of the series on February the 8th 2013.
Wanting to maintain the high level of excellency that we have come to expect from the Dead Space series, EA have seen fit to release a demo that users will be able to download on the 22nd of January from the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store. However, those who think that they cannot wait that long are able to get early access to the demo, providing you own an Xbox 360, after signing up for the demo on the official Dead Space 3 site located here. However no information has been released, as of yet, about bug reporting to EA so that they can fix the problems before release; after all we don’t want another Mass Effect 3 style release, do we? Also there is no information about the demo having Kinect compatibility that has been massively hyped up by EA.
With some highly anticipated releases coming up around the same time, releasing a demo is a very smart move. So look to the Xbox Marketplace and the PlayStation store on January the 22nd to get a free downloadable demo of a much loved series.
