Cell To Singularity Celebrates Telescope Launch With Special Event

Cell To Singularity is a simple game — you just click on things — with an extremely large scope (the entire history of life). Starting with a single cell, your clicks spawn primitive life forms and cause them to evolve. Your ultimate goal is to click (or tap, if you’re using the mobile version) your way to a civilization so advanced they reach the Singularity, or the theoretical moment robot AI surpasses that of natural life, and man and machine become one.

While Cell To Singularity isn’t 100% scientifically accurate, you can learn a lot about biology and the universe as you play, and soon thanks to the launch of the James Webb Telescope, we may learn a lot more. The game’s developers are celebrating the launch of the telescope with BEYOND, a special 14-day event for Cell To Singularity players. A similar-looking telescope can now be found in the game, and it needs repairs! Everyone playing the game can help fix it by repeatedly clicking on it. If users are successful, they’ll earn up to 20 Darwinium cubes and a temporary simulation boost across the whole game. Complete your mission, and you’ll get a permanent 3D telescope for your garden.
