Limited Run Games Brings Capcom Arcade Stadium Vol.1 To Console!

-

Are you itching for a chance to play some old arcade classics? Than Limited Run has you covered with the Capcom Arcade Stadium Volume 1 releasing on console!

Capcom is well known for its vast library of games throughout multiple video game generations. Whether it is with the NES or the Playstation 5, you can always find Capcom games leaving their mark on video game history. However, while Capcom’s name makes one think of its console releases nowadays, some of its greatest titles sit within arcades.

Cabinets held incredible games that emblazoned the name of Capcom on their sides like a badge of honor. Names like Street Fighter 2 and Final Fight defined their genres, leaving an incredible impact on the greater industry. With this in mind, Limited Run Games‘ mission is bringing these games back into the modern world through this collection.

THE PHYSICAL VERSION OF THE CAPCOM ARCADE STADIUM VOL. 1

When purchasing the physical game, you have a choice between five separate covers, with each one showing off the artwork from games on the collection. You also get a eight-page booklet with information about the arcade games on the collection. Booting up the collection will show a massive digital arcade, with cabinets of each game that you can freely play and enjoy.

Within the collection, you get a wide variety of Capcom games to play that span from 1984 and 2001. From platformers like Ghosts ‘N Goblins, to shooters like Legendary Wings, to even Fighting games with Street Fighter 2, you have a lot of games to choose from. However, you have more than just the games, as you have some features that the original cabinets did not have.

Fans of the classic arcade experiences can adjust the display of the games to resemble the original cabinets visual style. If you find the difficulty of these games to be too much, then the collection also has a save and load feature, as well as a tool to slow and speed things up. You can even make use of a rewind feature to undo mistakes made in the middle of the action.
