Bulletstorm Returns With Full Clip Edition

Gearbox Software revealed a new edition of Bulletstorm this week with Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. This remastered version of Bulletstorm will launch on April 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

The game has been completely updated with ultra-high resolution graphics. This means players can now enjoy the game with hi-res textures, increased polygon counters, crisper audio, smoother framerates, and running up to as high as 4K resolution on PC and PlayStation 4 Pro. The upgraded version of the game features all the previously-released DLC and even all new content. Players who pre-order the game will also be able to play as Duke Nukem in the game. This includes full voice-over from Duke, who will replace the main character Grayson Hunt and provide gamers with a new experience.

Gearbox head of publishing Steve Gibson stated on the news:  “We are thrilled to be working with People Can Fly to bring Bulletstorm to new audiences and platforms. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition takes a critically-acclaimed game and adds so much to it with some killer new content, including all the separate add-on packs, and kicking up the presentation to a level that wasn’t possible with technology before. We hope fans of the franchise, both new and old, are going to love this.”

The game arrives in April 2017 for a mult-platform release. Here’s a full breakdown and announcement trailer for the release:

  • The Total Package – All previously-released content including all maps, modes, and more on your favorite modern platform
  • New Overkill Campaign Mode – Blast your way through the campaign by starting with an unrestricted arsenal of weapons and Skillshots
  • New Echo Maps – Showcase your skills on six brand-new levels for the score-based Echo Mode
