2K Games revealed the box art for NBA 2K15 in a tweet earlier today.
As announced in early May, Kevin Durant, who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, will grace the cover in NBA 2K15. His response at the time was “It’s something that I’ve been longing for a while, and I’m just grateful for the opportunity.”
Additionally, 2K revealed that Pharrell Williams will curate the soundtrack to NBA 2K15.
“It was a cool experience. I tried to curate songs that were diverse but yet still proved to be motivational to gamers,” said Pharrell. “It was important to me that the music complemented the on-court action of NBA basketball in NBA 2K15. I hope everyone enjoys it.”
Pharrell Williams is known to be the founding member of N.E.R.D and the Neptunes. Some of his hit singles include “Happy,” “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke and “Get Lucky” with Daft Punk.
NBA 2K15 is set to be released on October 7 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
