As of this morning the new Batman game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC will be coming out Oct 25th. Rocksteady is out on this one and WB Montreal is taking over. The game will feature eight villains and is set in the years before the Dark Knight really became the Dark Knight.
WB is saying it’s going to be twice the size of the previous game, adding in a whole new area they are calling “New Gotham.” They will be keeping in many areas that were featured in the previous games. The movement of Batman will be more refined in this one, as opposed to the last, you will be able to move much faster going from towers and ledges. Building on the last game they will also be adding in new side quests and upgrades.
You will be depending more on your detective skills in this one as well. Investigating crime scenes and analyzing data.
It sounds like they really want to add more to the game, instead of just continuing on where you were in the last two which is definitely going to lead to some interesting quests and replayablility.
