Back to 15: A nostalgia ride to 2006

Back to 15 is a Brazilian Netflix original that will give you the Nostalgia of the mid-2000s. An Era where Myspace was the social network and Youtube is run by YOU instead of content farms. Oh also Fake news propagandas that brainwashes people to support corrupt politicians was not there yet too.

I won’t mind going back to that time too. There is no pandemic that forces as to wear mask and there are less than 30 candles on my birthday cake. Kids are so in a hurry to become an adult and they have no idea that once your youth is gone you will never get it back.

Anita(Camila Queiroz) is a miserable 30 year old who hate what her life has become. She hates her career, love life, and social life. She wanted to go back to the time there was a 15-year-old girl who is full of hopes and dreams. When she was younger she have a more positive outlook on life and have higher expectations of what she will become when she grows up.

Back to 15 trailer

One day while Surfing online, Anita decided to visit her old photoblog. Which is most likely this world’s version of a Myspace account. She discovers that she can turn back time to 2006 whenever she goes to that page and close her eyes. Anita (Maisa Silva) becomes her 15 year old self again. She also can go back to the present day and see the changes she did while messing with the past.

Back to 15 have some similarities with the Anime Tokyo Revengers but on the perspective of a romcom instead of a Shonen Battle Anime. Anita can try to correct her mistakes from the past and see the changes it makes in the present.

Back to 15 is coming to Netflix this February 25 2022.  If you can become your 15 year old self again by logging in with your old blog, What will you do?

Wow, this sounds like such an interesting concept! Going back in time to relive your youth is something many of us daydream about. I can understand why Anita would want to escape her current life and go back to a time when everything seemed more hopeful. I'm curious to see how she navigates the temptation to change history and whether she'll learn any valuable lessons along the way.

You know what? I wouldn't want to go back to my 15-year-old self, even if I had the power to rewind time. I was a target of rampant bullying, and it made those years incredibly tough for me. But you know what? I've grown stronger and more resilient because of it.

Now, as an adult, I can honestly say that I'm enjoying life far more than I did back then. I've built a supportive network of friends and have found my passion in a fulfilling career. I've learned to embrace who I am and not let the negativity of the past define me. So, while the idea of changing history and becoming my 15-year-old self might intrigue some, I'm content with the person I've become today. I'm grateful for the growth and the chance to live a happier and more fulfilling adult life.

If I were given the opportunity to go back and become my 15-year-old self again, there are definitely things I would do differently. . Looking back, I would prioritize my education and focus on school, ensuring that I set a strong foundation for my future.Additionally, there are certain relationships that I might choose to approach differently. The mention of Anita's dissatisfaction with her love life makes me reflect on my own experiences. If given the chance, I would make more careful choices in my romantic relationships, aiming to avoid any negative situations or toxic partners.

In particular, if I had the foresight, I would steer clear of the person who ended up becoming my wife. Reflecting on my marriage now, I realize that it hasn't been the healthy and fulfilling partnership I had hoped for. I regret the decision to marry someone who turned out to be difficult and unsupportive.

I was a child during these times but I have fond memories of 2006. Imagine in the film 13 going 30, 2003 is the future. Now it is from the past decade people being Nostalgic about.

Anita's story seems relatable in a way, as we all have moments when we wish we could go back to a simpler time. I wonder if she'll be tempted to change her past
