Starz Media provided the first teaser look at the upcoming second season for Ash vs. Evil Dead this week. You can check out the new video, plus the first image still for the new season below.
The new image shows Ash together with Lucy Lawless, who plays Ruby. Some new details were also released for the second season, which will consist of 10 half-hour episodes. In season two, Ash leaves his beloved Jacksonville to return to his hometown of Elk Grove, where he confronts Ruby. The former enemies now have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes a nucleus of evil.
The show stars Bruce Campbell back as Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless as the Necronomicon possessor Ruby, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell. Lee Majors, Ted Raimi and Michelle Hurd join the cast for the new season. Majors portrays Brock Williams, Ash’s father. Ted Raimi is Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend, and Hurd is Linda, Ash’s high school love.
The new teaser is short, but also very bloody, gory and violent. It looks like Ash and his friends will definitely have their hands full this season. The series returns later this fall on Stars.
