It’s Friday, which can only mean one thing: it’s time for another Armed with Controllers video!
This week, the game of choice is Rockstar Vancouver’s slow-mo shooter Max Payne 3. Released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC only a year ago, it was well received by critics overall, praised for its striking, cinematic presentation, action-packed gunplay and great pacing. However, a linear campaign combined with a few missteps in mechanics and difficulty prevented Max’s third outing from achieving the same level of success as Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV.
None of that means anything to AwC’s Stapesy though. For him, it was one of the best games to launch last year, and you’re about to see why. Click play on the video embedded below, and watch what happens when a rugged, world-weary, pill-popping bodyguard and an excitable English eccentric come together.
Have a good weekend everyone.
