No More Snow: A Festive Co-op Shooter with a Dark Twist Launches on Steam

No More Snow, a co-op shooter indie game with Santa and Mrs. Santa taking on Krampus across ten unique levels launches to Steam in time for the holidays.

Just in time for the holiday season, independent game developer Deividas Baumilas, also known as Barzda, has released No More Snow, a captivating co-op top-down shooter game that puts a dark twist on the traditional Christmas narrative. Available on Steam, this indie game promises to be a festive treat for gamers looking for an action-packed and unconventional holiday experience.

In No More Snow, players take control of Santa Claus and Mrs. Santa, who are on a mission to fight against Krampus and his army of mischievous minions. The indie game features 10 unique levels, each with its distinct challenges, set in diverse locations such as snowy mountains, a spooky graveyard, and Santa’s own workshop.

The game boasts cartoony low poly graphics, adding a playful yet eerie dimension to the Christmas-themed horrors. Players will embark on an adrenaline-pumping adventure, where they’ll face an array of monsters including snowmen, zombies, and evil elves, all trying to disrupt the festive spirit.

Armed with an arsenal of weapons ranging from rifles, shotguns, and flamethrowers to melee weapons like axes and deadly candy canes, players are well-equipped to tackle the threats posed by Krampus and his minions. The game’s local co-op mode features an angry Santa Claus and Mrs. Santa, allowing friends and family to join forces and battle it out against the Christmas chaos.

While the concept is unique, No More Snow's graphics could use a bit more polish. However, the gameplay compensates with its challenging levels and creative boss fights. Baumilas' dedication to indie game development shines through, even if there are a few rough edges.

It's inspiring to see indie developers like Baumilas bring something fresh to the gaming scene. No More Snow's creativity is commendable, and the fact that it's a side project for the developer is impressive. Support indie games, people! Played No More Snow with my kids, and it was a hit! The co-op mode with Santa and Mrs. Claus had us all laughing. It's nice to see a holiday game that the whole family can enjoy together. Thumbs up for turning Christmas into a cooperative battle against Krampus!

This game hits me right in the nostalgic feels. Reminds me of those classic arcade games but with a dark Christmas twist. The Snowman King level brought back memories of some of my favorite childhood games. Kudos to Baumilas for the throwback vibes.
