Thirteen lives inThailand got in danger four years ago, and the world became the witness. A Teenage soccer team and their coach took refuge inside a cave because they want protection from rainfall. The boys have no idea their lives will be in peril because the torrential downpour will flood the Cave. People were concerned for the children’s safety because drowning was a terrible possibility of their fate.
The world prayed for their safety because the situation felt hopeless. However, People didn’t lose hope despite of the grueling challenge.
An International group of volunteers risks their lives to rescue the soccer team. Despite differences in language and culture, The team worked hard. They are determined to save the thirteen lives with a future ahead of them. This tale is a real-life event is full of suspense ,tragedy and inspiration. Director Ron Howard decided to produce and direct a movie based on the Survival of these brave children and their heroic rescuers. It is not the first film based from the Tham Luang Cave Rescue, in 2019, a Thai movie titled The Cave was released.
The victorious rescue of the thirteen lives was a monumental News event worldwide. The Rescuers and the Soccer team became overnight celebrities after the grueling mission to save them after ten days of getting stranded inside a deep cave system.
Most of the boys are stateless and have no birth certificates, so the Thai government gave them Thai Citizenship. The Rescuers received multiple awards for their bravery. Sadly, the story has some tragedy, as one of the rescuers died in the middle of the mission. The boys got invited to opportunities they never expected in their life.
The movie will focus on the perspective of three of the rescuers. Joel Edgerton, Colin Farrell and Viggo Mortensen will play the leads.
