Tales From The Loop has become one of Free League Publishing’s most successful tabletop games since it was released back in 2017. It’s had several expansions since, and even its own Amazon Prime TV series. Free League wants more people to join in, so they’re introducing a Starter Set for newbies. Like the original, this slimmed-down version is set in the 1980s and based around the retro sci-fi art of Simon Stålenhag.

Previously, Free League announced a release for the Tales From The Loop Starter Set on April 3. If it had met that date, it would have coincided with the release of the TV series, but things didn’t turn out that way. But there’s good news: the Starter Set may be late, but it will be released in both physical and virtual versions. You can get it as a module for the Roll20 digital platform, and play anywhere, with anyone.
