Spy x Family Confirmed To Return October 7

-

Spy x Family was one of our favorite new anime of last year, and we’re thrilled to find out that not only is Season 2 coming VERY soon, we’ll be getting it in a little over a week’s time. Crunchyroll confirmed episodes will resume premiering Saturday, October 7.

Loid Forger is secretly the master spy known as Twilight. To pull off his latest mission, he must quickly concoct a fake family in order to get close to a foreign official. A woman he runs into at the store agrees to pose as his wife, but HE doesn’t know she’s secretly the world’s deadliest assassin! And when the pair adopts a child to complete the ruse, THEY don’t know pink-haired Anya is secretly a telepath who can read both their minds — and knows THEIR secrets instantly!

The series wound down with an arc that added one new member to the Forger family, a dog…and if you think the dog must have a secret of its own, you’re right. Bond can see into the future, and Anya can tap into those visions to sense trouble ahead.

WIT Studio (Attack on Titan) and CloverWorks (The Promised Neverland) are once again teaming up to produce the animation for Spy x Family Season 2. Directing duties will be split between Kazuhiro Furuhashi (the original Hunter x Hunter) and Takahiro Harada, promoted from assistant director.

New episodes of Spy x Family will premiere Saturdays on Crunchyroll in Japanese; dub versions are being prepared in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Russian, and Arabic. We’ll let you know when they arrive.
