Peacemaker Season 2 Releases Red Band Trailer

-

I’m currently rewatching Peacemaker Season 1 in preparation for the launch of Season 2 next week, and one of my thoughts was “huh, this show was a lot raunchier than I remember.” Now that Peacemaker himself is part of the “main” Gunnverse DCU, will any of that be toned down? Gunn and Cena appear at the front of the Red Band Trailer released today to deliver a big fat NO to that question — in as many F-bombs as they can muster.

So because of this, YouTube won’t let us embed the trailer for Peacemaker Season 2 — we can only link you to it, and advise you not to play it at work, or the sensitive woman who collects cat figures two monitors down will get very upset. Note that a clean trailer was released last May, and we embedded that one below, but it’s not going to have any new footage.

The uncensored trailer answers one big question: how does Peacemaker get from the Zack Snyder Justice League ‘verse to the new Gunnverse? Easy….if you recall, his nasty dad had access to a pocket dimension in his own house. He used this to store his weapons, but Peacemaker could possibly (and will probably) use it to access other dimensions of his own. Amanda Waller doesn’t like that possibility.

The surviving cast of Peacemaker Season 1 will return for Season 2, including John Cena as the title character, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Jennifer Holland as Agent Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as Economos, Nhut Le as Judomaster, and Eagly as himself. The helmeted man returns August 21.
