We’ve covered several video game awards ceremonies in recent months here at Popgeeks and there seems to be a common critical favorite among them. Astro Bot has been nominated in every category possible, for a total of seven possible wins should it take them all. Black Myth: Wukong also has seven. Animal Well has five.
So what makes the Game Developers Choice Awards different from all the others? What it says on the box….this is the one where game developers themselves get to choose the winners. You’d think they’d all just pick their own games, but we suppose that isn’t allowed. If you don’t see your favorites here, the GDCA is the only game awards show we know of to offer a Viewers Choice trophy…and you can vote on what wins it through this link.
