Netflix intends to be one of the main GO-TO streaming platforms for Korean content, if not the Number One. Rakuten Viki is its main competitor, and that platform also releases original content. As a subscribing consumer, I love the competition. Netflix plans to kick off its 2026 Korean drama lineup with a romantic comedy, “Can This Love Be Translated?” (starring Go Youn-jung & Kim Seon-ho). I’m looking forward to the New Year. Are you?
